Walk for Life

The Soroptimist Walk for Life is a fund-raising event held by the Soroptimist Clubs of Eugene, Junction City, and the Emerald Empire. It grants emergency funds to women throughout Lane County who are battling breast cancer or other cancers of the reproductive system.

Soroptimist Walk for Life helps women...

	Who have exhausted all other resources.
	Who are forced to choose between treatment and their family's basic needs.
	Who earn just enough to be ineligible for the Oregon Health Plan.

The funds are administrated by the Social Work
staff at the Willamette Valley Cancer Center.
