Honorary Chair

I am very privileged to be serving as honorary chair for the 2009 Walk for Life. This event supports local women suffering from breast cancer and other cancers of the reproductive system by offering grants for expenses not met by medical insurance. The money can be used in many ways, including child care, house cleaning, respite care? whatever is needed to help with a woman?s recovery from cancer. I am so impressed by the purpose of this Walk, by the fact that it directly serves local women, by the community feeling that the Walk generates. This will be my third Walk for Life - I hope you?ll come walk with me and all the other wonderful people who can be counted on to support this cause. I?d love to meet you!
